It started with a simple idea: creating a baking steel that would deliver the same wood-fired pizza effect as a pizza oven — in the comfort of your kitchen. We’re Lindi and Anna, two sisters who have grown up sharing a love for cooking (that’s Anna!) and hosting (that’s Lindi!) at home, always looking to create memorable moments with our friends and family. After living in big cities postgrad (London for Anna, New York for Lindi), we wanted to continue bringing loved ones together. That’s when George Cookware was born.

As a tribute to our grandfather, George, we decided to bring our own take to generations of steelmaking: think refined designs, polished feel, and elevated living. We believe that every meal and gathering spent in the kitchen should be an experience. A chance to create a special moment. We like to see our kitchen as a space of possibilities. That’s why all our George products are designed with this idea in mind.
