Tomato, Mozzarella, Basil Pizza Sandwich




Ingredients:
- Dough of your choice (we love our sourdough & yeast recipes)
- Heirloom Tomatoes
- Fresh mozzarella
- Basil
- Pesto
- Aioli
Method:
- Preheat your oven with a George Baking Steel at 550 degrees for at least 30 minutes. Remove your pizza dough from the fridge at least 2 hours before cooking.
- Shape dough into a pizza shape on your floured George Pizza Peel and drizzle with olive oil. Fold the dough in half. Transfer onto your preheated baking steel.
- Bake in the oven for 5-8 minutes or until golden brown with charred spots.
- Allow to cool before splitting in half and adding the toppings. Enjoy!
