Roasted Tomato, Mozzarella, Avocado, Basil, and Balsamic Pizza

Ingredients: 

  • Yeast Pizza Dough 
  • 1 Container Cherry Tomatoes
  • Sliced Mozzerella 
  • Sliced Avocado 
  • Basil Leaves
  • Balsamic Reduction
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper 
  • 00 Flour

Instructions: 

  1. Preheat your oven with a George Baking Steel at 550 degrees for at least 30 minutes. Remove your pizza dough from the fridge at least 2 hours before cooking.
  2. Dust your George Pizza Peel with flour, spread around, and dust off any excess. Dip the pizza dough into a bowl of flour and also dust off any excess flour. Shape the dough into a pizza shape and drizzle with olive oil. Fold the dough in half. Transfer onto your preheated baking steel. Roast the tomatoes in the oven at the same time, they should take around 5 minutes. 
  3. Remove the pizza dough and tomatoes from the oven. Allow to cool for 5 minutes. 
  4. Split the dough, and add the tomatoes, mozzarella, avocado, and basil leaves. Drizzle with the balsamic and olive oil, and finish with a bit more salt and pepper. 
  5. Close the sandwich and enjoy!
