Marinated Olive and Feta Pizza

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup green olives, pitted
  • 4 garlic cloves, peeled and finely sliced
  • 1 lemon, peeled into long strips
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • ¼ cup feta in brine, crumbled
  • Sourdough pizza crust (recipe linked here)

Directions:

  1. Place the steel in your oven and heat it to 500-550 °F.
  2. While the steel is preheating, prepare your toppings. Lightly crush the olives using the side of your knife.
  3. Place the garlic cloves, lemon peel, olive oil, and red pepper flakes in a small saucepan. Heat until the garlic and olives are sizzling in the pan.
  4. Bake the sourdough pizza crust on your preheated George Baking Steel for 9 minutes or until deep brown with a nice char.
  5. Top your sourdough pizza crust with the warm marinated olives and crumbled feta.
  6. Enjoy!
