Marinated Olive and Feta Pizza
Ingredients:
- ½ cup green olives, pitted
- 4 garlic cloves, peeled and finely sliced
- 1 lemon, peeled into long strips
- ½ cup olive oil
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- ¼ cup feta in brine, crumbled
- Sourdough pizza crust (recipe linked here)
Directions:
- Place the steel in your oven and heat it to 500-550 °F.
- While the steel is preheating, prepare your toppings. Lightly crush the olives using the side of your knife.
- Place the garlic cloves, lemon peel, olive oil, and red pepper flakes in a small saucepan. Heat until the garlic and olives are sizzling in the pan.
- Bake the sourdough pizza crust on your preheated George Baking Steel for 9 minutes or until deep brown with a nice char.
- Top your sourdough pizza crust with the warm marinated olives and crumbled feta.
